Bridge No. 28: Cambodia’s Tallest Bridge and Scenic Landmark

Bridge No. 28, the tallest bridge in Cambodia, is located on National Road 10 in Chhay Luk Village, Ou Saom Commune, Veal Veng District, Pursat Province. Spanning a total length of 537 meters, the bridge reaches a height of 90 meters (measured from the riverbed to the bottom of its girders) and features a width of 10 meters, along with a 15-meter-wide central viewpoint. Situated at kilometer 128+905, the bridge lies in a picturesque region surrounded by stunning natural landscapes, including forests, mountain ranges, valleys, and winding streams. Its design not only serves as a vital transportation link but also as a tourist attraction, offering visitors breathtaking panoramic views of the area.

The construction of the bridge was part of a larger road project inaugurated on March 9, 2020, under the leadership of Samdech Techo Hun Sen, the former Prime Minister and current President of the Senate, as well as Head of the Supreme Privy Council to His Majesty the King of Cambodia.
