The Giant Clock of Kampot

 The Giant Clock of Kampot

Kampot province has a new tourist attraction that is attracting both local and international visitors: a giant clock on the riverbank. The giant clock is expected to become another famous landmark and a popular place for the public, like the popular seahorse sculpture in front of Kampot Provincial Hall.

The clock, built in traditional Khmer style with Khmer numerals, is 35 meters tall with a clock face measuring 9.7 meters in diameter. It is located in Ta Angk Village, Traeuy Kaoh Commune, Kampot City, on the west bank of the Kampot River, opposite Kampot Provincial Hall.
