Wat Reach Bo, also known as Wat Bo Pagoda, is over 400 years old. Wat Bo is a famous monument and ancient site in Siem Reap Province, believed to have been built around 1650. It is located in Wat Bo Village, Sala Kamreuk Commune, Siem Reap District, Siem Reap Province.
In terms of architecture, Wat Bo Temple is a unique cultural heritage site, featuring intricate designs and authentic Khmer artworks. These include the roof, temple structure, foundation, door panels, window panels, Buddha statues, thrones, pillars, and colorful murals. Why Visit Wat Bo Pagoda?
- Wat Bo Pagoda is located just one kilometer from the Pub Street area, making it an ideal spot to explore on your own.
- There is no entrance fee to visit Wat Bo; however, a donation is recommended if you choose to enter.
- You’ll only need around 30 to 45 minutes to explore the temple.
A great time to visit is between 4:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., when you can often hear the monks chanting.
