Wat Phon Si Sawang (ວັດທ່າງຊ້າງ _Wat Tha Xang)

Wat Phon Si Sawang (Wat Tha Xang), located in Ban Tha Xang, Pak Ngum District, Vientiane Province, is an ancient temple that has only recently gained recognition and attention in the past few years. It has since been renovated with many beautiful elements of Buddhist architecture, making it an important site for Buddhists and a popular destination for tourists today.

The most prominent and largest Buddha image at Wat Tha Xang was built in 2017. It stands 54 meters tall and has a front width of 30 meters.

Today, the temple's construction is complete, featuring a stunning design beautifully decorated with pearls on the interior. Inside the temple, a central bronze Buddha statue in the "defeating Mara" posture and other 28 white Buddha statues.
